Payments
When you register for a dance class (Aug - Nov/Dec, Jan - March/April) at Studio Chassé, you are making a semester-long commitment requiring your first tuition installment to be paid at the time of online registration (which secures your spot in the class) and remaining tuition installments to be paid on the 1st of each month (fall/winter semester) and the 15th of each month (winter/spring semester).
When you register for our summer session, you are making a commitment to a 4-day camp or weekly class, requiring your tuition for the camp/class to be paid in full at the time of registration.
Our dance year (Aug - May) consists of two semesters and a spring showcase (if you choose to participate). Tuition for a semester at Studio Chassé is auto-paid in installments (the first being at registration) and the remaining installments monthly. Tuition is the same each installment, regardless of how many classes fall in that month or your number of absences.
Studio Chassé uses auto-pay through DanceStudio-Pro to collect tuition. A checking account or credit/debit card is required at the time of registration and families must enroll in auto-pay. Cash and checks are NOT accepted for tuition installments. ​
No financial information is stored within DanceStudio-Pro. This includes credit card numbers or bank accounts. DanceStudio-Pro sends electronic requests to the merchant processor to charge a customer's account without having to specify the financial details. This protects both Studio Chassé and our families.
Showcase Rehearsal Tuition (April - May)
Our spring showcase rehearsal tuition is auto-paid in two installments on April 15th and May 1st for five weeks of class/rehearsals prepping for the showcase.
Showcase Costumes
Returned/Declined Payment Fee
All monthly payment declines/returns will incur a non-refundable $5 per return/decline fee. This fee is charged to an account when a processed payment is returned or declined. The returned/declined amount plus your monthly installment must be paid by the 5th of the month in order for the dancer to continue enrollment. If tuition is not received, the dancer will be withdrawn from all classes and the next person on the waiting list will take their place.
Budding Artist costumes are $40 and Youth-Advanced costumes are $45 (unless otherwise noted). Costume payments are due by February 1st and are paid through the portal when registering online for the showcase
Transfer/Enroll Deadline
August 31 (fall/winter semester) and January 31 (winter/spring semester) are the last days to enroll or transfer to a different class at the same level. No refunds will be made on any payments already received. The director must be notified in writing (via email) of the request to enroll and/or transfer and the request must be approved in writing (via email) by the director.
All changes to enrollment, after the initial enrollment in our studio portal, must be made by the director. Enrolling in classes at Studio Chassé is a semester-long commitment and no refunds will be given.
Withdrawal Policy
Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal.
For the summer session, a written notice of withdrawal via email (and a printed receipt of the director's confirmation) is required one week in advance to remove a child from a camp/dance intensive. Tuition charges will cease one week after the written notice of withdrawal is received, printed and filed. Refunds will not be given for any installments or payments made.
For the fall/winter and winter/spring semester, a written notice of withdrawal via email (and a printed receipt of the director's confirmation) is required one month in advance to remove a child from class. Tuition charges will cease one month after the written notice of withdrawal is received, printed and filed. Refunds will not be given for any deposits/installments or past payments made for any reason. For example, if written notice is received and confirmed on October 1st, the family will be responsible for October tuition and all paid tuition fees will not be refunded. Tuition charges will cease November 1.

- No cash or checks are accepted for tuition.
- Your first month's tuition is paid at the time of registration and the remaining balance is paid in installments.
- All changes to class enrollment must be requested in writing by the end of the semester add/drop period.
- All changes to enrollment, after the initial enrollment on our studio portal, must be made by the director.
- Tuition is not prorated or refunded for absences, vacation, or illness/injury.
- Tuition is prorated for class cancellation.
